Huber's Marine has been in business for over thirty years now. Ray Huber and his oldest son, Terry Huber, received their first load of boats in 1984. Previously, Ray and Terry sold water skis and accessories out of their garage. Ray Huber was the first inductee into the Indiana Water Ski Hall of Fame. Terry was inducted into that same Hall of Fame in 2011. Huber's Marine's first building was in downtown La Porte in 1984. The business has continued to grow since then. They moved to their present location in 1988 where they have filled their 10,000 sq. ft. showroom with boats, parts and accessories. Their service department sits on six acres of fenced in land with a 6,000 sq. ft. service building and a 15,000 sq. ft. storage building. Huber's Marine is a full-service dealership, offering sales, parts, accessories, service, storage, and winterizing. Huber's carries a full line of watercrafts including pontoons, runabouts, and fishing boats. They also carry boat lifts, motors, and trailers. All items are top of the line equipment from reputable brands. Huber's also has an inventory of pre-owned boats, motors, trailers, and shore stations. Huber's has two locations to rent seasonal dock slips and about 175 spaces total. Annex South is located on 530 Waverly Road and Annex North is located on 1350 Pine Lake Road. Annex South offers a boat launch, boating accessories, a gas dock, snacks, and pontoon boat rentals. Annex North is also home to their “Pre-Owned Boat” Showroom.
